Peat Substrates
Substrate is usually prepared as a mixture of low decomposition degree peat moss with lime material and nutrient elements, or as a mixture of white and black peat moss in a certain proportion with lime material and nutrient elements.
According to your individual demand suitable for your horticultural needs, substrates may be produced with the following most commonly used additives:
- lime
- fertilizers (PG-MIX)
- clay
- perlite
- microelements
- wetting agent
Substrates are mostly used to raise various plants and in addition to the main nutrition elements contain also Ca, Mg, Cu, Fe, Zn, B, Mo, Mn and/or several other trace elements.
